“Since getting my brows done, I have been looking after myself which is good for my mental well-being. Look good, feel good is true!

Katrina helped me see that. She has the most amazing personality so I felt comfortable and she delivered the perfect brows (which I keep getting compliments for months after!)

SIGNATURE OMBRÈ/POWDER BROW

Price: $650 First Session

($100 for Second Session if required)

The Powder and Soft Ombrè technique employs a very fine needle to “dust” pigment through the skin softly and lightly.  The idea is to get a beautifully shaped brow that looks as if you have softly added a bit of powder.  It’s not designed to be intense and “block” looking but soft and natural.  An ombrè brow will have a softer beginning and a more defined tail whereas a powder brow will be more defined throughout the entire brow.

This treatment will last 15-24 months before a touch up is required unless you have been exposed to high sun exposure, excessive sweating etc in which case the touch up will be required earlier.

This technique is suitable for almost every skin type and the healed results are more predictable.  Particularly great for more mature skins or oily skins.

Welcome to the beginning of beautiful permanent makeup!

There will be some minor redness, bruising, swelling and tenderness immediately post treatment.

While the area is healing there can be some mild itching, flaking and crusting.

MUST NOT DO:

  • PICK, PEEL, RUB OR TOUCH the area with your fingers.
  • Use facial cleansers on or around the treated area for 4 days post treatment.
  • Use makeup near the treated area for 4 days unless it is Osmosis mineral makeup.
  • Receive beauty treatments until skin has healed.
  • Expose the skin to sunlight, tanning treatments, jacuzzi, sauna, salt water, chlorinated water or direct shower spray. For at least 1 week.
  • Use AHA or Retinol products on the treated area. It WILL FADE the pigment colour.

MUST DO:

  • Use the after care cream supplied by Katrina Ellen exclusively and at the specified intervals unless advised otherwise in WRITING.
  • IMMEDIATELY AFTER: Wash your brows every ½ hour with water and a fresh cotton pad. DON’T DAB the brows – you need to WIPE them to remove any plasma building up. Do this for about 4 hours.
  • Wash them again before bed and apply a THIN film of cream.
  • Wash the brows morning and night and apply a thin film of cream for one week.

Here is a guideline of the healing process over the next 4-6 weeks.  You may experience some or all of the following.

  • Day 1-2: Your eyebrows will become darker and darker as the pigment and lymph oxidises. You may even begin to think you regret having your brows done… hang in there.
  • Day 7-10: The relief moment and a thought of “That’s more like it!! yay!”
  • Day 14-25: “This hasn’t worked-where has all the colour gone!” This is because your healing skin cells are opaque – not see-through. With that you can’t actually see the pigment that was implanted. This is NORMAL and the colour will reappear!
  • Day 21-28: “Yay! there they are!” Now you can see why you need a touch up. Having a few hair strokes missing, or parts of hair strokes missing is very normal. You can lose up to 20% of your strokes (if microblading) between the 1st and 2nd treatment.
  • Day 28-42: We refresh your brows and compete the 2nd treatment, which involves the same process as the first. However, because we don’t retreat every hair, your eyebrows can appear very patchy, don’t panic it’s only a couple of weeks!!

If your original brow work was not completed by KE, you will need to be assessed to see what services are required before booking in for a yearly refresh. Some touch ups on other work demands more time than a fresh brow created by KE.

COMBINATION BROW

Price: $800

(Price includes first and second session)

Combination brow is a stunning option for the right skin where a combination of stokes and powder brow are employed to create a beautiful natural look. The softness of the stokes and the ability to add dimension with the powder is a sensational look on the right skin.  It’s a great option if someone is unsure if microblading will be suitable for them. If the client does not hold the strokes so well between the first and second session, more powder can be placed to complete the brow.

This treatment will last up to 12 -15 months before a touch up will be required. If the subject experienced high sun exposure or excessive sweating etc this will affect the treatment’s durability.

Due to the use of microbladed strokes, this treatment is suitable for normal skin, skin with normal oil flow and no visible open pores. Clients who have open pores often have a higher oil flow and this treatment will not be best suited for them as the strokes wont hold well and the results can be disappointing. The same issues can arise with a dry skin as the skin can be shedding too fast for the stokes and pigment to hold. Identifying the correct skin for this treatment is VERY important. Many artists make the mistake of microblading deeper into the skin in oily or compromised skins to get a lasting result. This results in deeper scarring which over a few sessions will mean that client will no longer hold any pigment and a big mess would have been created with old deep strokes that look too cool or red.

Microblading

MICROBLADED BROW

Price: $800

(Price includes first and second session)

Microblading brows is creating tiny strokes in the skin laying pigment in the top of the base membrane. The idea is when the skin heals soft strokes of pigment are left giving the illusion of hair.

When completed on positively responsive skin, the initial treatment will last around 12 months before the annual refresh session is required.

This treatment is suitable for normal skin, skin with normal oil flow and no visible open pores. Clients that have open pores often have a higher oil flow and this treatment will not be best suited for them as the strokes wont hold well and the results can be disappointing. The same issues can arise with a dry skin as the skin can be shedding too fast for the stokes and pigment to hold. Identifying the correct skin for this treatment is VERY important. This results in deeper scarring which over a few sessions will mean that client will no longer hold any pigment and a big mess would have been created with old deep strokes that look too cool or red.

This treatment must be carried out by an experienced artist. I am very open and honest with my clients around if this would be suitable for them or if another option would be better suited, as a Royal artist in this technique I am well qualified and experienced to guide you correctly. A very beautiful and natural option on the correct skin type.
